Foundation for Excellence India Trust

In FY 2021-22, FFE awarded scholarships amounting to Rs 46.04 crores to 10,227 students pursuing Engineering, Medicine, Law and BPharm degrees. 3889 new scholars were added to the Scholarship Program in this FY, the highest number to date.

In addition to awarding scholarships, FFE continued to strengthen its ‘Wrap Around Program”:  the Skill Development (Soft skills and Technical skills) program and the Mentoring Program for FFE scholars with good enrolment in both. FFE also leveraged its corporate donor network to provide unique learning opportunities for all FFE’s scholars through virtual workshops, training and webinars. FFE is grateful to The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF) and Capgemini for their generous grant, which has supported the structured training program for FFE scholars.

FFE’s In-House Mentoring program gained momentum with 1000+ students being paired to mentors sharing their experiences and expertise with FFE mentees.

Amidst the pandemic, FFE hosted 8 Virtual Open House events and interacted with over 7000+ stakeholders across India.

During 2021-22, FFE was recognized for its outstanding contribution to the gifted students from financially constrained backgrounds, as well as for good governance practices and demonstrating transparency as established by the awards won. For the fifth consecutive year, FFE was awarded the prestigious ‘Advanced Level – GuideStar India Gold’ award
