About Us

The Foundation For Excellence (FFE) was founded with the mission to award college scholarships to students who, although financially constrained, showed great promise in the Engineering, Medical, and Law programs, these being some of the most expensive higher education programs in India. Apart from FFE’s alumni, who support future scholars like themselves, donations come from all around the world from individual donors, corporations and foundations.

FFE finds bright and deserving students from financially constrained backgrounds who performed exceptionally well at state and national level entrance exams to professional courses. Once a volunteer facilitator verifies the student’s financial need, the scholarship is awarded and their journey with FFE begins.

Assistance beyond scholarship support including English Training, Aptitude Training, Hi-Touch Advanced English, Aspirational Technical courses (Coursera), Mock Interviews for Placement Readiness distinguishes the Scholarship Program. The FFE Mentorship Program provides holistic support to our scholars to become self-reliant professionals through one-on-one mentoring by industry experts.

Volunteers acting as facilitators play a very important role in FFE’s Scholarship Program. Facilitators are responsible for identifying talented students who have the potential to excel academically and professionally, whose family is under considerable financial constraints. Additionally, facilitators also mentor students during their college years and beyond.
