Shraman-FFE Scholarship Program
The Shraman-FFE Scholarship Program will provide a lifeline to talented students facing financial constraints and seeking support to achieve their academic aspirations. The program offers equal-opportunity scholarships to talented undergraduate students pursuing Engineering and Science at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) and state universities across India. The program aims to expand its reach and provide timely financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education in Engineering, Medicine, Core Mathematics, and Sciences.
Applicants to the Shraman-FFE Scholarship Program must be Indian citizens qualifying for the below eligibilities.

- Students pursuing BE/BTech, Integrated 5-Year Dual-Degree MTech, MBBS and 5-Year Integrated Law courses are eligible for scholarships.
- Only new, first-year applicants in AY 2026-27 are eligible; applicants already in their 2nd year or above are not eligible.
- Applicants should have passed Class XII / Higher Secondary / Pre-University / Intermediate / CBSE / ISC or equivalent board examination in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Admission must be based on open/general merit rank (not category rank) at the relevant national/state entrance test, e.g., JEE Main, NEET-UG or CLAT, within FFE’s eligible rank limits.

- Combined gross annual family income should be INR 4,00,000 or less.
- In addition to gross family income, the education and occupation of parent(s)/guardian(s), the family’s living conditions, and total education-related expenses are considered in determining financial eligibility.
- If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a scholarship award of upto INR 70,000/year until graduation.
- Awards are renewable each year until a Bachelor’s degree is earned. Renewal is contingent upon the applicant continuing full-time enrolment in an eligible course of study at an accredited four-year college or university, maintaining a good standing with their university and continuation of the program.
- Along with the financial award, FFE will also provide mentorship, skill building opportunities and other networking opportunities.
- Awards are for undergraduate study only.
- This scholarship is open to all eligible students pursuing Engineering, Medical or Law degrees at recognized Government institutions, irrespective of caste, community or religion.
- Selection is led by Foundation For Excellence.
- Students can apply to The Shraman-FFE Scholarship Program through an online application form.
- FFE verifies academic and financial eligibility, including marksheets, entrance/counselling records and income documents.
- FFE’s volunteer facilitators conduct a three-way verification with the scholar and parent/guardian to confirm genuine financial need.
- After verification of family background and academic credentials, students submit the application form online along with all supporting document and requirement for Shraman-FFE Scholarship Program.
- The scholarship is paid directly to each scholar’s bank account after fee-receipt verification.
Selected applicants will be notified latest by 15th March 2027.
Foundation For Excellence processes payments on behalf of Sharaman Foundation, disbursed directly to each scholar’s bank account annually, subject to satisfactory academic performance and continued eligibility.
